Swiss Week

So, maybe you might like to know, how my week in Switzerland went. Well, I have to say, now that I write it on my notebook here - on Wednesday evening - it's pretty nice. Some things are a bit annoying - like the fact that my *#+&%$ cellphone uses up it's battery faster than ever and I can't always send the SMS I want to send..
The driving to this place here was pretty complicated - we've been driving at night and in the rain and the people on the Swiss highway are a wee bit idiotic, so that I really had to put my mind and my concentration to the driving for three hours straight - after I've been so tired all day anyway, since I was out the night before really late. Well, anyway, I made it without any accidents or little bruises for the car.. ;-)
Now here in Anzere there is actually really little snow - quite disappointing in the alps at that time of year, but well, whatever.. on the 23rd I went shopping with my parents and my sister Nathalie and we all found some clothes and a really nice christmas tree, a little too small for my sisters' taste, but it's looking quite cute anyway - maybe I'll be able to post a picture here, later.
On the 24th, my parents went shopping with my other two sisters again - while Nathalie and me went skiing, which was just soooo great - the snow up there on the skiing area was perfect and there was hardly anyone around, so we could really ski and ski and ski.. at that point, my annoyance towards my cellphone already began to grow - at some point it decided to stop working the right way and I got the same three messages from Wendy over and over again for like four hours - must have been the first time, when I wasn't happy about an sms coming from her.. ;-)
Well, then the Christmas evening was pretty much the same procedure as every year - first we do some singing, then our dog Nelson gets to look for his gift - a wrapped up pair of Wieners, hidden between our gifts. After that, we get each other the presents and after that we'll just hang around and talk and joke and stuff like that. By the way: I asked my mum about it.. until now, no goose had to die for our christmas enjoyment..
Today - 25th - we've been skiing again until just now and I guess the others of my family are just as tired and spent now as I am - once again the slopes have been pretty much empty and no rows at the lifts, so we could easily keep on skiing all the time, which also means, that we don't quite get any rest. And I can really feel that in my lazy, untraines legs.. ;-)
Well, that was it for today, I'll add to this here more tomorrow, so I can post the whole batch again on Sunday, when I come home.
~~
So, okay, it's Thursday today and there was actually some snow falling today - enough to scare us away from more skiing, but too little to actually stay - now it's sunny again and everywhere it's brown. Well, can't help that. So instead of skiing I took a little walk to - erp - town sounds like the wrong word.. to the village center and got some postcards. Only a couple of them, not quite like the huge amount of postcards, that I am expected to write from Malaysia. Well, from how it looks until now, it might well be possible that I'll find the time to write those.. ;-)
To be complete honest, I don't like writing postcards, since I never quite know, what to write on them - they're not quite like email, but I can't really write as much as in a letter. Well, and the chance that my family will read them before I put them into the letterbox isn't completely zero.. So, anyway, now I am sitting here on the gallery, looking out and watching cars go by, look at the snowy mountains on the other side of the valley, how they're in the sun and glowing bright white.
~~
Friday. Cold, windy, too many people on the mountain. I'm missing you, folks..
~~
Still Friday. I just finished writing my postcards - 10 postcards to 10 girls in 10 different countries. Wow.. ;-)
