Soaps 'creating bitchy youngsters'

Backbiting and bitchy characters in TV soaps are helping to create a "climate of bullying and aggression", an expert has warned.

No expert needed. ;) When I'm listening to my sisters, all three soap opera-addicts, talk about the intrigues in their respective peer groups, I sometimes feel like watching a especially bad specimen of the the species "soap opera." Luckily my peer group mainly thinks about computers, beer, movies, more computers and more beer, so I have a fairly relaxed life.
