Geek Fashion

A plea to all creators and producers of fashion for men: Please create a clothing line for geeks. I thouroughly tested the clothes for normal guys for the last 23 years and I found several shortcomings. So that's what is essential for people with our lifestyle:
Build to last
Almost nothing sucks more than having to go shopping for clothes. It's wasted time, that could be spend in much better ways.
Pay special attention to those parts, that are under special stress:
  • Backside from sitting at a chair most of the time.
  • Knees from crawling under the desk to exchange sound/video/raid/...-controller
  • Belly-region. Make it flexible. You know, why.
Commodious
We have to be able to carry at least a pda, two pens, a cellphone, a digital camera, a PS portable, some paper, some CDs and DVDs, a memory stick, a Swiss Army knife, a purse and some tissues without having to resort to some sort of backpack or bag.
Affordable
We need the money for gadgets.
Versatile, yet good looking
Those clothes should not look out of place, no matter where we go - local UNIX meeting, customers, paintball area, opera, con, out in town.
This is mainly do tue the fact, that we don't like to go shopping for new clothes all couple of months. And if we found some nice pants, we feel like getting 10 of them to avoid further shopping. And of course they still have to look good. Not that we care, but even we want to get girls or guys, depending on gender and/or preference, and usually not those, that are attracted to white socks in sandals, shorts and red-checkered shirt. And that's what most of us seem to end up wearing, if no-one helps them.
Big variety in sizes.
Everything between small and skinny, big and fat, small and fat and big and skinny has to be covered.
I am sure, I could think of more points, but maybe my highly valued readers have something to add?
