Notice how at no point in my description do I mention the ethnicities, religions, animosities or any of the cultural groups you'll read about in the breathless CNN and Time magazine articles that are surely being written right now. That is because they don't matter to the companies and countries playing connect-the-dots with pipelines and oilfields.
